TEAM BUILDING

I have always believed the best papers are the ones created not by a staff, but by a family. A little corny, yes, but staff camaraderie leads to staff members who care about the paper. This year in particular, I have had to help develop a community among the 24 new staffers. It's important to me that each staffer feels included and valued as an important part of the paper. To accomplish this, I spend my time in class meeting with my peers and helping them with their articles. I also help facilitate team bonding activities that help the staff grow closer as a whole.

Working with staffers is my favorite part of being an editor!
